- Building on more than 25 years of development and manufacturing
in North America, the bulk material storage domes have been completely
redesigned, evolving into the eurodome storage dome family, which is a much
improved and stronger building than its North American counterpart. The new
design and engineering assures that the new eurodome family of domes meet
and exceeds all of the European norms and standards for its class of construction.
In May of 1996, Domeuropa commenced production of its eurodome family of domes
near Bristol, England. This new plant met the expected growth in the UK
and Europe for standard domes ranging from 10m to 50m in diameter, with capacities
ranging from 500 to 20,000 tonnes.
- For covering rock salt, sand, potash, urea, phosphate, grain, coal and sporting complexes - no matter what the product - the eurodome family of domes is a world leader for covered bulk material storage. Also available are the e-domes and barrel domes. The barrel dome having a maximum capacity limited only by site restrictions for length.
In 1998 Domeuropa received the coveted ISO 9001 Certificate for quality control used in the manufacturing process of the eurodome family of domes. Domeuropa was re-certified to ISO 9001:2000 in 2003 and again in 2006.
